May 13th 1544 - Greed overtook a small group of men of the Inuit Nation. They ultimately possessed 99% of the tribe's resources and refused to share any of it until a rebellion led by women re-established the Potlatch, a traditional sharing of the wealth. This totem pole was carved to commemorate that troubled era.
